Overview
India is one of the world's largest cashew processors, but the domestic crop alone does not keep processing units running all year. Dheera imports raw cashew nuts (RCN) from major producing countries and supplies them to processors across India, so factories can plan their intake beyond the Indian harvest.
Raw cashew is bought on outturn. Every lot is quoted against a written specification covering kernel outturn ratio (KOR), nut count per kilogram and moisture, with inspection at loading and a cutting test on arrival where the contract calls for it.
